Prathyasa Bhavan Half-Way-Home is an ambitious project of the Ranni-Nilackal Diocese of the Malankara Mar Thoma Syrian Church for the rehabilitation of recovered mental patients.
The Bhavan was born out of the desire and vision of Rt. Rev. Dr. Euyakim Mar Coorilos our former Diocesan Episcopa and an earnest attempt for the realization of that dream is being made by the present Diocesan Episcopa, The Rt Rev Geevarghese Mar Athanasius. This project is dedicated to Commemorate the 80the birthday of our beloved Most.Rev.Dr. Philipose Mar Chrysostom Mar Thoma Valiya Metropolitan.
Prathyasa Bhavan is a rehabilitation programme for the mentally challenged persons.

REHABILITATION
Rehabilitation is a bridge spanning the gap between, uselessness and usefulness between helplessness and helpfulness, between despair and happiness. Rehabilitation of recovered mental patients involves three functions.
Train and temper them to be fit for integration to society.
Educate and orient the society to accept and acknowledge them as its part and parcel.
Integrate them to the society.
The rehabilitation program consist Prayers, Medical care, Indoor and outdoor games, Agricultural activities, Occupational therapy, Psychotherapy, Aptitude tests, Music & arts programs, Physical exercise, Library, Sports etc.
